The Free State Development Corporation (FDC) continues to make a great impact on SMMEs, ensuring their survival through mentorship and financial backing. One such success story is Bodibeng Chemicals Manufacturer and Distributers, a Chemical Manufacturer based in Phuthaditjhaba, Qwaqwa. It was established in 2003 by Molelekeng Merriam Ngomane, founded with the aim to manufacture cheaper domestic and industrial cleaning chemicals and provision of cleaning services. The company has created jobs for members of the community, thus playing a vital role in decreasing unemployment and feeding families. The company currently has 15 people employed, 7 women and 8 men who are trained in chemical manufacturing and cleaning. |
