Free State Development Staff Donates A Wheel Chair

FDC Donates Wheel ChairThe Free State Development Corporation staff donated a wheel chair and food parcels on the 24 December 2014 to a needy family at Thabo- Mofutsanyane district.The beneficiary of the donation was Mr J.F Mofolo who is 54 years old, unemployed and resides in a shack with his entire family at Thabana Tshoana village.

Corporate social initiatives such as these are meant to touch the lives of the very unfortunate people in communities served by the corporation through making a difference in their lives. Furthermore, Christmas is a very special time to have a caring and giving spirit, therefore the donation came at the right time to wish the beneficiary a merry Christmas.

Mangaung Annual Disability Transport Summit

Mangaung Annual Disability Transport SummitFree State Accessible Transport hosted the annual disability transport summit in Bloemfontein on the 31 October 2014 under the theme "Positive towards Disability Inclusion". The purpose of the event was to strengthen the commitment of all stakeholders to protect, respect and promote the rights of persons with disabilities. The event was co-sponsored by the Free State Development Corporation (FDC) and Airports Company South Africa.
